// FAQ
Common Questions
What is an LLM API key?
SwarmSight uses a Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) model. You sign up with an LLM provider — such as DeepSeek, OpenAI, or Anthropic — and receive an API key. SwarmSight uses that key to run your simulations, so you pay the provider directly for token usage. There are no hidden fees on top of your bundle price.
Which providers are supported?
DeepSeek (recommended — lowest cost), OpenAI (GPT-4o and variants), Anthropic Claude, Groq, Together AI, and Qwen. Any OpenAI-compatible endpoint works. DeepSeek typically costs ~$0.30 per simulation at default settings.
How long does a simulation take?
Most simulations complete in 5 to 15 minutes depending on the number of agents and deliberation rounds. The default configuration (24 agents, standard rounds) typically finishes in under 10 minutes. You can watch progress live in the dashboard.
Is my data private?
Yes. Your simulation runs on a dedicated VPS provisioned exclusively for your bundle. No data is shared between users. When your bundle expires, the VPS is destroyed and all data is purged. Your documents never touch shared infrastructure.
What do I get in the report?
A structured Markdown report covering: the prediction outcome with confidence levels, individual agent perspectives and reasoning, emergent consensus patterns, key risk factors and dissenting views, and a timeline of how opinions shifted across rounds. Reports are downloadable and shareable.
